Article 50-2 (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses)

• No person shall collect email addresses from a website by using a program or other technical device that automatically collects email addresses without the prior consent of the website operator or administrator.
• No person shall sell or distribute email addresses collected in violation of paragraph (1).
• No person shall use email addresses for transmitting information while knowing that their collection, sale, or distribution is prohibited under paragraphs (1) and (2).

Article 74 (Penalties) Any person who falls under any of the following subparagraphs shall be punished by a fine not exceeding KRW 10 million.

• A person who labels, sells, or displays for sale in violation of Article 8 (4)
• A person who distributes, sells, rents, or openly displays obscene codes, words, sounds, images, or videos in violation of Article 44-7 (1) 1
• A person who repeatedly sends codes, words, sounds, images, or videos that cause fear or anxiety to another person in violation of Article 44-7 (1) 3
• A person who takes technical measures in violation of Article 50 (6)
• A person who collects, sells, distributes, or uses email addresses for transmitting information in violation of Article 50-2
• A person who transmits advertising information in violation of Article 50-8
• A person who fails to register changes to registered matters or to report a transfer, merger, or inheritance of business in violation of Article 53 (4)
